So I was working on my Skyline, finally putting my Nismo fuel pump in. I took out the fuel pump and to my surprise it was a Walbro 255lph pump. Looked pretty much new. I was like fuck well I guess I have something to sell on ebay.
I put it back together, turn the car on.... gas spraying all over. Stretching the 25 y/o fuel lines did not end well. So I trim the one spraying gas like a garden hose down and try to fit it on the bung..... comes apart fragments of rubber everywhere.
Me at that point:
I haven’t felt such rage in a while.

If the pump isn’t a problem, why replace it?

I also have 660cc injectors, nistune, r34 turbo, etc. going in after this.

Also I was having spotty issues with power, which I think is the coils, but I heard weird electronic noises from the rear of my car so I thought I would just replace the fuel pump since I have one just to eliminate that possibility. I need to figure that out before I schedule a dyno tune.

The previous owner of my truck replaced about half of its fuel system with cheap rubber lines. Ewwwww. Nylon tubing to the rescue!
